SMALL
GROUPS

Being - Growing - Making
Disciples... Together!
What
is the Purpose of Small Groups?
Small groups
are designed to help connect people into a God-centered community where members
can grow in God's kingdom, values and purposes for life. At Our Savior, we want
everyone to have a chance to be known, loved and growing in grace together with
a few other people in a small group.
What
do Small Groups Study?
Our Savior
small groups study God's word to discover God's purposes for their lives. From
time to time, all groups at Our Savior will be encouraged to use the same curriculum.
During these times, the topic of each week will coincide with the sermon topic
at our weekend services. These will be great opportunities for the congregation
to study the same material together.
Who Hosts These
Groups?
Hosts are volunteers
who help facilitate the discussion and distribute information to group members.
Small Group Hosts
attend Our Savior and commit to open their hearts to others and invite them into
their home to grow and study together. They have established Christian character, their faith
in Jesus Christ and their commitment to Our Savior Lutheran Church. Groups share
responsibility within the group.
When Do Groups Meet?
Meeting times
vary by host. You can specify a preferred time and day of week when you sign-up
and we'll connect you with the available group that best matches your preference.

Why
Small Groups ?
The purpose of small groups is to have a place where you can share life,
learn about God and grow in your individual relationship with Him. We use as our
model the Acts 2 church, where people gathered together for worship and also met
in homes. We are committed to having everyone connected to a small group.
