OUR MASTER'S PLAN

GOD'S VISION:
Turning irreligious people into fully devoted followers of Christ

We live in a sinful fallen world. As a result of sin there are many who live without Christ. They live lives without hope or a future. They need to hear the life saving message of Jesus Christ. As a result of sin even those of us who know Christ are irreligious. We sin in thought, word and deed. We need to grow in our knowledge and understanding of Jesus' life saving message. The process from irreligious to full devotion is life long and will not be complete until we stand at the feet of the one who was pierced for our sins.

GOD'S STRATEGY:
Worship - Fellowship - Discipleship - Ministry - Evangelism

Worship is where God and His children come into contact with one another. God grants forgiveness in His word and in the bread and wine, the body and blood of Jesus Christ. God's children receive what God freely gives and respond with songs of praise and adoration to their God.

Fellowship is brothers and sisters of Christ doing life together. Celebrating the highs and sharing the burdens of the lows together.

Discipleship is the life long process of becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. This happens in personal devotions and time spent in prayer.

Ministry is the use of our God given gifts for the good of God's kingdom.

Evangelism is the telling of God's love for His children who have lost their way. These are the strategies God uses to "Turn irreligious people into fully devoted followers of Christ."

OUR CHALLENGE:
Eliminate current debt and provide adequate facilities to assist in the implementation of God's vision and strategies.

An enlarged entry and remodeled sanctuary will:

  • Allow for continued growth in our weekend worship services.
  • Enable us to use the Family Life Center for the purpose it was originally built.
  • Provide additional rooms for use on Sunday morning.
  • Free up the Sunday School hour so that we can give our undivided attention to youth and adult Christian education.
  • Give us a large, beautiful front entry for fellowship and the building of unity within the congregation.
